Shemp, Larry and Moe from Squareheads of the Round Table"Hello. Oh, yes Mr Goodrich, I'm sorry we were tied up."*SLAP*"He means we were detained."
Larry from Don't Throw That Knife"When we first started out I never thought we'd be three fingers on the arm of the law. I'm the first finger."
My toin (this is may be too easy, but it's such a good line!):"Well, as there's no other place around the place, I reckon this must be the place, I reckon."
Curly in We Want Our Mummy
"Dear Mr. Jack, look at the way he spells Jack, J-E-R-K."
I'm thinking Cuckoo on a Choo Choo
"Does my head look a steampipe.""No, a steampipe hasn't got ears."
"I knew I missed a keg of nails.""But it didn't miss me."
Connie Cezan in "Tricky Dicks" when talking to Larry I believe.........."You must come with me and take off those wet clothes."
My first thought was Jean Willes to Shemp in Gypped in the Penthouse; but I watched the scene and found that what she says to him is "You had better take those wet clothes off before you catch cold. Come on; I'll give you something to wear." Anyway, I don't see how either one qualifies as a classic line or even an interesting line.
As a follow up for ye of zee little gray matter......
"You must come with me & take off those wet clothes" - Gertie Green, Three Little Pigskins."Fellas, we can't do that, can we?" - Larry, Three Little Pigskins.
I believe that is Moe from Hokus Pokus, correct me if I'm wrong.
