SNOW WHITE AND THE THREE STOOGES
USA, 1961, Walter Lang
What was it like to make a movie with Larry, Curly-Joe, and Moe?

Saturday Jan 5, Olympic gold medal-winning figure skater Carol Heiss Jenkins tells us. A year after triumphing at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics, Heiss Jenkins played an ice-skating Snow White (her only film role) in this lavish fantasy in which the Three Stooges substituted for the seven dwarfs. Shot in color and Cinemascope, with five songs and two ice-ballets, this was the most expensive and elaborate Stooges production ever made; the new 35mm print we will show comes from the 20th Century Fox studio archive.

Carol Heiss Jenkins will answer audience questions after the screening. 107 min. Kids 12 & under $5.

Show Times Jan 05 (Sat) - 7:00PM
