December 5, Sony is releasing a 6-DVD collection of director Frank Capra's films. Three Stooges director/screenwriter Ed Bernds worked as a soundman on almost all of Capra's Columbia films, at the request of the director; stories behind Bernds' work on these films can be found in his 1999 autobiography
Mr. Bernds Goes to Hollywood. A bonus feature on the DVD collection is the 1997 documentary FRANK CAPRA'S AMERICAN DREAMS, which includes interview footage with Bernds.

The digitally re-mastered set includes AMERICAN MADNESS (1932), IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (1934), MR. DEEDS GOES TO TOWN (1936), YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU (1938) and MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON (1939).
