December 5, Sony is releasing a 6-DVD collection of director Frank Capra's films. Three Stooges director/screenwriter Ed Bernds worked as a soundman on almost all of Capra's Columbia films, at the request of the director; stories behind Bernds' work on these films can be found in his 1999 autobiography Mr. Bernds Goes to Hollywood. A bonus feature on the DVD collection is the 1997 documentary FRANK CAPRA'S AMERICAN DREAMS, which includes interview footage with Bernds.
