Would you know the episode schedule on Spike for September?

I have already done the SPIKE schedule for September. It is under 'September TV Stooges'. I am not sure, but I don't think there will be any stooges on the 25th either. I can't imagine why.

I normally post the Spike TV schedule, but I stopped because Spike TV just airs the same thing. I'll just post the link of where I get the schedule.

ThreeStooges.net says that they will also air them on Saturday & Sunday afternoons at 3. Maybe that's for when some football teams are getting the S*** beat out of them.

I get WBSK, a UPN Channel out of Boston on my satellite here in Missouri (specifically because they show the Stooges on Sunday Mornings).  Any way, here is a list of the shorts they are showing this Sunday beginning at 9am/8am ct:

Gents in a Jam (9:00 am)
Husbands Beware (9:23 am)
A Missed Fortune (9:45 am)
Guns A-Poppin (10:08 am)

I will post the Sunday episodes every week if any of you get that channel.

Here's Oct 2 schedule on WSBK:

Booby Dupes (9:00 am)
He Cooked His Goose (9:23 am)
Idiot's Deluxe (9:45 AM)
A Merry Mixup (10:08 am)

Hope that helps.

Please do.  We've got quite a few members in the New England area, plus there are plenty of others, like yourself, who can get it on cable or satellite, so I'm sure it will be useful and appreciated.  I'd suggest just adding them as replies to BeAStooge's current TV threads, like you've already done here.

WSBK no longer goes by "WSBK": they are now "The U", UPN 38. I still refer to the channel as WSBK though.

I just wanted to say that I caught the Stooges on WSBK this morning, and it kicks ass. No commercial breaks in the middle of shorts like Spike TV, and showing shorts that haven't been seen on TV in years.

Since that site nevers shows what SpikeTV is showing by day I can probably just post each month's schedule on the calendar since I have access to it.  Hopefully it will make the schedule easier to read.

Yes, I watch the Stooges on WSBK on ExpressVu in Canada. The picture quality is very compressed, but nice to see shorts not on SpikeTV.

AMC had "How High Is Up?". I can swear ( not literally :D) but I am SURE that Spike has shown "How High is up". It is usually aired with "Sock-A-Bye Baby". Do they still air that one?

Also - I saw on one previous post that Spike used to air "Scotched in Scotland". Are they ever going to air that one again? "The Hot Scots" wasn't one of my favorites, and I'm wondering if the remake will be any better.

It's possible.  If so, I must have missed it.  I'll keep my eyes peeled.  Thanks.

Spike TV has aired "How High Is Up?" However, Spike TV has never aired "Scotched In Scotland." That short is one of the 60 shorts not included in the syndication package.

Why is We Want Our Mummy not included in the syndication package? In fact why aren't all of the shorts included. I have been wating a long time and looking into the future schedule of Spike TV. it appears Oily to bed, Oily to Rise is not being shown by Spike TV, I need that and Mummy taped even with ads to then burn to a DVD eliminating the commericals...

I have both of these shorts uncut and unedited. I would be happy to burn them to DVD for you. Tell me if you would like this.

The reason "We Want Our Mummy" isn't shown, is because it is cut and edited to an extreme. Only half of it is even shown! I have it uncut.

That could be it. When The Family Channel showed that short, it was totally butchered. However, it's been on tape for a long time, uncut and unedited.

WE WANT OUR MUMMY (1939) is not shown because it is one of 60 films not selected by Sony/Columbia and C3 when they co-produced the 1998 syndication package.
http://threestooges.net/forums/index.php?topic=860.msg5140#msg5140

Sony/Columbia never cut WE WANT OUR MUMMY, and will provide it uncut to any local station that leases the entire 190-short package.  WE WANT OUR MUMMY is now, always has been, and will always be intact in Columbia's library.

Sony Pictures Television provided 190 uncut shorts to Pat "Pray-for-Death-to-Anyone-Who-Doesn't-Agree-With-My-Dogma" Robertson's Family Channel for that station's 2-year national cable TV contract (Jan. 1996 - Dec. 1997).  Family ran 189 of the shorts after deleting THE YOKE'S ON ME (1944) from their rotation, made significant politically-correct edits to several more other shorts, and significant cuts for commercials to about 1/3 more.

WE WANT OUR MUMMY was cut up by Family Channel because...

Its one-hour segment also included OUTER SPACE JITTERS (1957), which costarred Dan Blocker.  In 1996, Family's highest rated show (outside of 700 CLUB) was repeats of 1970 - 1974 BONANZA episodes, costarring Dan Blocker.  The first couple times that OUTER SPACE JITTERS ran, Family cross-promoted it on its three-times-a-day BONANZA repeats.

Family ran JITTERS uncut, extended its run time to 1/2-hour by inserting two commercial breaks, and each break included a cross-promo for BONANZA and Blocker... and WE WANT OUR MUMMY's runtime was cut down to make room for all this nonsense.
