February 25, Fox is releasing SING, BABY, SING (1936) in its Fox Cinema Classics line of MOD-DVD-r's.

The musical-comedy features Ted Healy, and stars Alice Faye, Adolphe Menjou, The Ritz Brothers and Patsy Kelly.

A massive 50th anniversary Blu-Ray release of THE NUTTY PROFESSOR (Jerry Lewis, 1963) is set for release on June 3.

Bonus features include DVD [only] features THE ERRAND BOY (1961) and CINDERFELLA (1960).  Joe Besser has a small role in the former, and served as gag writer on the latter.

September 16, Warner Archive released SHIRT TALES The Complete Series. 

The 1982 - 1983 Saturday morning cartoon series features a guest-star voiceover by Joe Besser in one episode, "Elephant on the Loose."  Other voices are by Herb Vigran (Mr. Dinkel), Ronnie Schell, Fred Travalena, Bob Ogle and Steve Schatzberg (The Shirt Tales).
