Sent to me today by old school poster Uncle Mortimer, here is a recent soul cover version of Black Sabbath's "Changes" that completely transforms the song.  Sounds like it was recorded in 1969, but it's modern, and this Charles Bradley guy is the same age as Ozzy.  Prepare to be blown away.

YouTube links have trouble popping up on my iPad, so here's the site in case anyone needs it.

Unlike Iron Maiden, the only really funny thing about the comment relating to Black Sabbath
that I'm gonna make is the cover to the Bill Ward album I wanted to mention:

On the other hand, I'll never forget what an enjoyable CD this was when I had it. Thanks to you, though, I know why I was never
able to replace my lost copy -- when I looked it up, I discovered that they're now so rare that they sell for up to $150 apiece!

Here's the music video for "Bombers" from the disc, BTW, sung by Ozzy Osbourne, star of the comedy TV series The Osbournes:

For real laffs, I have a VHS tape called Ozzy Goes To Hollywood which is a two-reeler length comedy compilation
featuring the Ozz-man himself. There's an updated, extended version with additional footage on Youtube:

A lot of that is included in my nearly completed "bibliodoc"* The Lighter Side of Heavy Metal (also inc. KISS vs. Paul Lynde & Margaret Hamilton, Alice Cooper vs. Mae West & Chuck Barris, Dave "Megadeth" Mustaine vs Daffy Duck & Porky Pig, etc.) which hopefully will play theatres in Texas and California soon, as did my 2006 "Carnalogical History of the Movies", The Smut Keeper Presents 'A Star Is Porn'.

That Bill Ward album is great, and I'm in the same boat as you.  I have a cassette copy but nothing to play cassettes on any longer.  I too balk at the price tag and will only buy if somebody sells it for a reasonable price.  The reason why that album bombed was because it was released in that strange transitional period where the hair metal era was enjoying it's last successes and grunge bands were up and coming.  The music did not fit in a neat little box and is stylistically diverse, you know, like 70's bands.  Shit, I seem to remember Jack Bruce played on a few tracks as well as a few other big names.

Those Ozzy Goes to Hollywood videos were used maybe 15 years ago (it HAS been that long, my God), before he would start his sets at Ozzfests.  I attended those regularly back in the day.

As far and Alice and Mae West, I've always wanted to see that film (it also has Ringo Starr and Keith Moon), as I hear it's supposed to be gloriously bad.  Alice claims Mae West, at about age 80, tried to seduce him.

As far as your film goes, keep us posted.

Luckily, the Coop could turn to his good friend Groucho Marx to give advice on how to get a 'West' from Mae's advances! (As opposed to the horrific chapter in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind where Chuck Barris attempts to fight off 'Mama' Cass Elliott!)

Unfortunately, the songs Alice sings in the film...

...are suited more to Firesign Theatre/David Letterman cronies the SVB...

than the founder of the ACG!!!

(IIRC, West said that despite her age "I'm still a gal who works at Paramount all day and 'Fox' all night!")

Gotta say, as somebody who literally has heard every Alice Cooper album and even owns the boxed set he released, I've never heard that song before!  That was insane, and makes me want to seek out the movie more.  Of course that's not Alice at his best, but that was entertaining and bizarre all the same.

As far as Mae West, she looks good for her age, FOR HER AGE being the key words.  A youthful 85 she was.
