Name that classic line!

Seems like this forum loves little games like this, so here goes....

I'll name a line (or series of lines) from a classic Three Stooges short, and YOU name the short it came from.  THEN, when you name the short from the first line, YOU post aclassic line for someone ELSE to identify.

Here's mine, to start....

"Would you like to hear some birdies?"

"Yes, I'd love it!"  (Bonk)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 'Crash Goes The Hash'....?

My line:  "Hmmm!  This ain't a bad lookin' dump!"
"Imagine five things like us in one room??  I can't stand it!" - Curly (Time Out For Rhythm 1941)

I don't know the short, but something tells me, "Yeah, reminds me of the reform school," follows.  At least it SHOULD!

"Crash Goes The Hash" is correct!  (1944)  Good job, Curly'sdame...........

Verrry close.  The line that follows is:  "Reminds me of the penthouse we were thrown out of."
"Imagine five things like us in one room??  I can't stand it!" - Curly (Time Out For Rhythm 1941)

Your line is from HEALTHY WEALTHY AND DUMB, but the line that preceded it was "This ain't a bad-looking dump." by Curly.

Try this one, which is VERY UNDERRATED line,
"What's that, a new car?
"No, it's an old sock!"

Something tells me the garden scene in THE HOT SCOTS.

Sorry, but the HOT SCOTS scene is as follows:
Moe:"What would you rather have? A shoe-full of dollar bills or two socks of five?
Shemp: "I'll take the two socks."
Moe: "You got 'em!"
POW!

That one is from How High Is Up. Moe & Larry are using two crowbars to remove Curly's sweater. When they are making a "V" in front of Curly's head, Larry says, "Looks like a V8", then Moe says "Ever heard of a V5?"

How about this one? "How do you like the eggs?"
"Sunny side down, and don't turn 'em over!"

You are exactly right (Were you waiting for me to confirm that?), but according to the rules, it is now your turn to quote a line & have someone identify the short from which it came.

Since nobody else has picked up the ball, how about if I try another one. I'll give the line, you name the title of the short. Correct answer gets to ask the next one.

"Did you ever have your valves ground?"
"Soitenly, with onions!"

MUTTS TO YOU (1938)

You are correct, MR77100.

But you forgot to ask the next question! It's your turn now!

"Aren't you guys ignorant? Didn't you hear the lady say....he presses refridgerators!"

"Aren't you guys ignorant? Didn't you hear the lady say....he presses refridgerators!"

Moe said it, in "Don't Throw That Knife"  (1951).

My line (this one's in 'pig language'):  "Exnay Ackencray the Odbray in the Asvay!"
"Imagine five things like us in one room??  I can't stand it!" - Curly (Time Out For Rhythm 1941)

The last answer was correct, but no new question was posted. I have 4 posts in this thread already; I'll pick up the ball if no one else does, although I'd rather try to answer than ask.

How about, "Lay off that lamp. That genius is working for me."

Did Shemp say that in THREE ARABIAN NUTS?

You are exactly right! I thought I'd try a line from a short that Sony hadn't released yet. I see you're a seriously dedicated Stooge fan! I'm really looking forward to Three Arabian Nuts being released on disc. My VHS copy has some scenes that are out of focus (kinda blurry looking) and has an entire scene missing (edited out to make more time for commercials, I'm sure).

According to the rules, the next question is yours.

"You're crazy....If we're discovered, we're FOUND."

"Not can-a-peas, canapes.......One of us is crazy, and it's not you."

"Sounds like Lieutenant Duck, to me."

Curly: Back From The Front

Larry: Crash Goes The Hash

Curly: Uncivil Warriors
I think Birdie will go for that!

"There's enough here for all of us to have an operation!"

"Oh not me! There might be a loose piano up there!"

"Hey someone's rattling dice!"
