Topic: Stooge-influenced Slayer lyrics?

Thrash-metal legends Slayer have stated they get much of their lyrical inspiration from horror movies. I wonder if they were watching the Stooges when they penned this verse from the song 'Necrophobic' (from 1986's Reign in Blood):

"Ripping apart, severing flesh, gouging eyes, tearing limb from limb."

Just wanted to share some of the crap that comes to my mind for no apparent reason.
