No Stooge topic here... just thought you might enjoy this.
The Fort Lee NJ Film Commission held its annual banquet last Saturday (Nov. 11), with special honoree guest Celeste Holm. Each year, the Film Commission also honors NJ native Lou Costello.

Obviously from the pic, everyone was having a great time!
Celeste Holm won 1948's Best Actress Oscar for GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT (1947), and was a Best Supporting Actress nominee for ALL ABOUT EVE (1951) and COME TO THE STABLE (1949). She moved to the East Coast in the 1950s and primarily dedicated herself to Broadway and early NYC live television. Some of us may remember her as The Fairy Godmother in 1965's live TV production of Oscar & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA. The younger amongst us may know Ms. Holm from a recurring role on ARCHIE BUNKER'S PLACE as Stephanie's grandmother (1980 - 1983), and a couple early '90s episodes of CHEERS as Woody's grandmother-in-law.
