THE THREE STOOGES
CLASSIC SHORTS ON THE BIG SCREEN

Ambler Theater: Aug 10 (Thurs 7:00 & 9:15)

The best of golden period Three Stooges in 35mm on the big screen. Join us for an evening of classic late 30's/early 40's Stooges shorts, hosted by the Three Stooges Fan Club. The show will be introduced and discussed by Club President Gary Lassin. Then join us Saturday, Aug 12, 10AM - 3PM, for a visit to Lassin's Stoogeum, an amazing world-class museum of Stooge memorabilia, hidden away in Springhouse, PA. It will knock your socks off! (The Stoogeum visit is free, but you need to get an advance ticket at the theater.) Each film program is different and lasts approximately 100 mins.

Two completely different shows, one at 7:00 the other at 9:15. There will be 4 films shown at each (titles per show tbd). The 8 films that will be screened are:

DIZZY DOCTORS (1937)
A PLUMBING WE WILL GO (1940)
ALL THE WORLD'S A STOOGE (1941)
AN ACHE IN EVERY STAKE (1941)
LOCO BOY MAKES GOOD (1942)
WHAT'S THE MATADOR? (1942)
CRIME ON THEIR HANDS (1948)
SQUAREHEADS OF THE ROUND TABLE (1948)

LAUREL & HARDY
OUR RELATIONS
1936 - 73 mins - b/w
d: Harry Lachman - w/ Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy

County Theater:  Aug 7 (Mon 7:00)
Bryn Mawr Theater:  Aug 9 (Wed 7:00)

An evening of Laurel & Hardy! In OUR RELATIONS (1936), Stan and Ollie don't realize it, but their long-lost twin brothers are in town. Trouble ensues with mistaken identities and a valuable pearl ring. Also on the program is the short TIT FOR TAT (1935). Presented by the local chapter of the Sons of the Desert, the official Laurel and Hardy fan club.

I wish I lived in the area.  The only Stooges film I've ever seen on the big screen is 'Around The World In A Daze.'  I saw that in a double feature with 'Godzilla vs. Mecha-Godzilla' when I was like 8.
