A great short from The Hal Roach Studios that takes a single situation and explores it to fill two reels ONE reel, without it seeming to be overdone. Here's a quick excerpt from my new filming locations documentary video of the 1924 Charley Chase movie All Wet.

Thanks! This one was interesting to me because we get to see the neighborhood as it was first being constructed and how it's evolved over the past 101 years.

I wouldn't be surprised, given the next to ZERO attention span of the younger generations, if the standard 22 minutes (plus 8 minutes for commercials) sitcom will be halved in the coming years. And then we'll be back to one reelers! :-)

Oh... it's a ONE reeler. I made this one a few months ago and forgot it wasn't a two reeler, LOL! I just updated the text in the original post.

For those who haven't seen it, the scene where Chase goes under water to fix the car is a must-see! I need to watch it again soon -- I have it on Super 8!
