I realize this is a fairly late reply, but thanks to the wonder of DVR's, this movie has been patiently waiting for me to watch for almost a month. Many thanks to BeAStooge for posting the reminder so I could record it.

I'm surprised that no one has posted any discussion on the film. (I searched for the title & didn't find any messages; maybe the search doesn't work?) I wanted to post a few comments about the Stooge bits, which I really enjoyed. After seeing the "Three Little Pirates" Maha routine many times, it was wonderful to see the "original" version with a healthy and vibrant Curly. The remaining Stooge bits peppered throughout the movie were great also; it was like seeing excerpts of a Stooge short that I'd never seen before.

It's a shame this movie isn't available on DVD; I'd really like to get it. The TCM airing was very clean, leading me to believe that it's been restored & hopefully will be available on DVD someday.

I recall there was quite a discussion about it. I don't think the search works either, as there is stuff I search for that I know I have read here before.

Go back to the date when TCM recently broadcast it. I can't remember when it was!

After seeing the "Three Little Pirates" Maha routine many times, it was wonderful to see the "original" version with a healthy and vibrant Curly. The remaining Stooge bits peppered throughout the movie were great also; it was like seeing excerpts of a Stooge short that I'd never seen before.

I wrote a detailed review of TIME OUT FOR RHYTHM back in Three Stooges Journal No. 61 (1992) (pre-TCM, when the movie really was hard to find).
(I assume everyone has all The Journal back issues!)

I think this is one to put in your 'update' file! I think a lot of club members would like to see that review again in the Journal.

It is hard for me to remember what it was like when films were so difficult to see, and TV shows too. Remember when it was very hard to find the Moe on Mike Douglass stuff? Now it's on YouTube!
