DUTIFUL BUT DUMBThree dimwitted photographers get sent to Vulgaria to take pictures of a new death ray machine. Unknown to the stooges, the penalty for snapping pictures in Vulgaria is death. The stooges manage to escape a firing squad but get carried away (literally) by the Vulgarian army in the end.

The oyster soup gag was repeated by Moe in SHIVERING SHERLOCKS (1948) and by Larry in INCOME TAX SAPPY (1954). Curly's battle with a live oyster in his stew was created for silent screen comic Billy Bevan in the short WANDERING WILLIES.
