It was a rough Memorial weekend.




Buckner was a good player and very good hitter. "The ball get's through Buckner and the Mets win it!" made him infamous, but what's little known is that he won a batting championship with less than 20 strikeouts FOR THE YEAR. I only know of 2 other guys to do that: Joe Dimaggio and Stan Musial.
