Yeah, does anyone know whatever happened to the website getting finished? I haven't seen Dunrobin on here in a few months, which is unusal. Hopefully he's alright.

He's fine, checked on him recently, he's just taking a break.

I was concerned myself. Glad to hear he's alright.

I am wondering if anyone could fill me in on the details of this DVD http://www.amazon.com/Three-Stooges-3/dp/B0000VD0T2/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_t_1

I am interested in getting all the MGM shorts, and I couldn't find anything in the videography about this particular set.

Don't know anything about that one, but this one's pretty decent:

Nertsery Rhymes is in b&w-- it doesn't look that great on the old Cavalcade laserdisc, really. The best it's ever been was in The Lost Stooges, but the musical bits were cut.
The Big Idea looks the worst, but it's okay.

Is there any chance that the Warner Archives will do a restoration/remaster of the MGM Stooges shorts?  I think it would be pretty cool if they did that and released a single disc DVD of "Nertsery Rhymes," "Beer And Pretzels," "Plane Nuts," "The Big Idea," and "Roast Beef And Movies."

Probably not soon. I recall there was mention of these shorts in connection with a previous set. The one where we found out from the press release they weren't included. Pity. I'd love a really good copy of The Big Idea.

I guess I could just get "The Lost Stooges," but is that a good substitute for having the complete short subjects?

For anyone living in the NYC area, on Sept. 29 and 30, the Film Forum will be showing HELLO, POP, a long-thought-to-be-lost short featuring Healy & his Stooges in early Technicolor, no less. POP will be on a bill with 6 or 7 other obscure shorts of the era. Here's a link: http://www.filmforum.org/movies/more/lost_now_found_the_three_stoog.

I wish we had a theater in my area (North Alabama) that showed old vintage films like this.
