Fellow Knuckleheads,

I never got to see the 2000 Three Stooges TV movie produced by Mel Gibson with Michael Chiklis as Curly and John Kassir as Shemp.

Was this ever commercially released, especially on DVD?

And if not, is there a way I could acquire this?

Thanks for your time,

I know that it used to be shown a lot on some cable station, but of course I can't remember.

I enjoyed the ABC movie, but many of the people here really hate it.  Don't expect a lot of historical accuracy.

I hope somebody can help you out!

The Three Stooges TV movie was released on VHS for Emmy consideration rather than commercially. It has shown up on eBay listings occasionally. I am not sure if this film will ever see DVD release.

I don't understand why they didn't release this on DVD.
Probably because it wasn't that good.  OK.  But not great.

Fair enough, but that hasn't stopped all sorts of other movies and TV shows from being released on DVD...  ;)

This is true.  Actually for a TV movie it wasn't too bad.  Would be nice to see a big screen biopic.
