Three Stooges Film Festival returns to Foxboro Time to stuff yourself with Stooges!  The Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro had no choice but to welcome the return of Moe, Larry and Curly (Shemp, too) for
another fabulous film festival.  The Three Stooges packed audiences into the theatre the past two years and tickets are already becoming a hot commodity.  How could they not with such a great roster of episodes: "Love at First Bite," "Who Done it?," "Calling All Curs," "From Nurse to Worse," "Grips, Grunts and Groans," "Hoi Polloi" and "What's the Matador?"  "The Three Stooges Film Festival is one of our very favorite events here at the theatre.  We always get such great response and it looks like we're in for another big crowd this year," said Bill Cunningham, managing director of the Orpheum Theatre.  The festival starts the day after Christmas, which tends to be a time when families want to do something together.  That's one of the reasons for high ticket sales.  The other is that the Three Stooges tend to have strong male audience appeal according said Cunningham.  "Last year a number of Moms came to purchase tickets as stocking stuffers for their kids and ended up purchasing tickets for their husbands as well.  We saw lots of fathers and sons and even grandfathers.  It's something silly and fun that they can do together."  To complement the Stooges Film Festival, the Orpheum invites all the "wise guys" in the crowd to join in a look a-like contest.  There will also be prizes for the best Curly Shuffle and the best Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk stooge impersonation.  The Three Stooges Film Festival will be featured at the Orpheum-Foxboro, 1 School St., Foxboro, Mass., Dec. 26 - 28 at 2 and 7pm each day.  Tickets are currently on sale at the box office: $10 for all shows, all ages.  The Orpheum is handicapped accessible.  Please call 508-543-2787 (ARTS).  You can also purchase tickets online at www.orpheum.org.
