Known primarily for his drunken characters in Laurel & Hardy comedies, e.g., THE LIVE GHOST (1934), SCRAM! (1932), THE FIXER UPPERS (1935) and OUR RELATIONS (1936). In real life, Housman actually had a drinking problem, and he died at the early age of 52.
