"The Grand Old Man of Vaudeville." One of Ted Healy's many replacement stooges, Mousie joined the act for two years in early 1931 after Moe, Larry & Shemp went solo; and again in 1936, he worked with Healy on-and-off through 1937 until Ted's death. In the 1950s, Mousie joined The Spike Jones Orchestra as a comic and piano player. The 1960s saw him as a character actor, costarring in the first season of SURFSIDE 6 (1960 - 1961), and guest roles on THE MONKEES, THE MUNSTERS, I DREAM OF JEANNIE, HONEY WEST, more.
