ABOUT A BOY - About a Balcony

Divorcee Fiona Bowa and her overprotected young son Marcus move into a new home in San Francisco. Next door neighbor Will Freeman, a successful songwriter and bachelor, forms a brotherly bond with Marcus, although he and Fiona don’t particularly like each other.

Fiona is upset with Marcus’ English teacher, who’s introducing his students to Shakespeare with the text reimaged as rap lyrics. Concern turns to romance after she meets the teacher, Mr. Chris. Will plans to introduce Marcus to The Three Stooges with a film marathon at his house, complete with cases of breakable prop bottles to enhance the entertainment. In two scenes, the guys are seen watching DISORDER IN THE COURT and BRIDELESS GROOM, and wearing Moe and Larry wigs.
