- Crew Member in the Shot
When the wheat cake hits the ceiling, you can see the hand of the crew member that throws it.
- Curly's Location
When Moe says â€Å"I'll direct the thing myself,†Curly is standing next to the leading lady, but in the next shot, he's standing next to the leading man. Then a few seconds later when the leading man walks away, Curly walks over to Moe and stands right next to him, but in the next shot, he's suddenly standing behind Moe.
- Cut Off
After Moe says â€Å"Use your head!†and kicks Curly in the behind, Curly begins heavily panting as if he's going to do something wild, but it cuts to the next scene before we see what happens to him.
- Disappearing Pliers
When Larry (as the leading man) says to Curly (as the leading lady) â€Å"I have come for youâ€, Curly turns his head to Larry, then holds pliers up to Larry's nose as if he's going to do something with it, but it suddenly cuts to the next shot and now Curly's not looking at Larry anymore and the pliers have disappeared.
- Larry's Location
When Moe is telling Mr. Swinehardt about kisses, at first, Larry's standing next to Moe, then in the next shot, he's nowhere near Moe, then in the next shot, he's next to Moe again, and so on...
- Magically Appearing Hat / Location Change
After the Stooges lock themselves in the lion den, they lean their heads against the door to hear if anybody's coming. While they do this, Larry has no hat on. Then the camera cuts to the next shot, and not only does Larry now have a hat on suddenly, but he and Curly have switched places!
- Missing Three-Watches Gag
After Curly says â€Å"Aw, I never get any rest!â€, it cuts to the next shot and you can see that Curly suddenly has his sleeve rolled up, revealing three watches, but there's no mention of them. Apparently, there was originally a three-watches gag similar to the ones used in DUTIFUL BUT DUMB, RHYTHM AND WEEP, and STUDIO STOOPS, but they removed it from the final cut.
- Mr. Howard
During the kissing technique scene, when one of the ladies is about to kiss Curly, she says â€Å"Oh, Mr. Howard!†But the Stooges were supposed to be under false identities at the movie studio, so we don't see how she knew Curly's last name. According to BeAStooge from the message board, the original script had the Stooges as staff scriptwriters for the studio. The kissing scene was shot before the film was revamped, and they forgot to change the â€Å"Mr. Howard†reference.
- Repeated Word
When Moe is saying various different names for â€Å"Swinehardtâ€, he says â€Å"Pighardt†twice in a row for some reason, probably because he briefly forgot what to say after that.
- Visible Cardboard
In the boxcar scene, when Moe puts down the â€Å"pressed pants†and begins chasing Larry with the hot iron, the wood/cardboard used to stiffen the pants is visible.
