Topic: Classic Comedy Rankings

As a classic comedy fan, I would like to start a ranking series of classic comedy teams and comedians.

Maybe metaldams or anyone can help, would there be a way to add a new tab in the film/shorts discussion? I would love to share my opinions on all of the comedy I have available in a ranking format, since they've already been reviewed.

You can just rank comedians in any way you’d like in this thread and I can pin the thread so it stays on top.  I’ll do that if this gets a few responses.

I made a sort of tier list recently, keep in mind the ranking can fluctuate for each tier.

Tier 1
The Three Stooges
Laurel and Hardy

My two clear favorites to watch of any classic comedian. And overall only pro wrestling can match my passion.

Tier 2
Harry Langdon
Buster Keaton
Charlie Chaplin
Harold Lloyd

The big four of silent comedy, who all have a great track record in features as well as many strong silents.

Tier 3
Wheeler and Woolsey
Charley Chase
Abbott and Costello
Marx Brothers

The final category of comedians that I’ve really liked what I’ve seen of, but don’t quite make it into the top two tiers.
