Nah, that wouldn't work. To me a laughtrack is for comedy that could also have been presented on the stage as a play. Unless Ollie's neighbors were laughing at him falling off the roof while trying to put up an antenna!When I was in my late teens, my friend and I were having a catch in the street, and an elderly neighbor was up on his roof doing some work, and he fell off more than once -- and didn't get hurt! Although once he landed on a first-story landing outside a window. He was hanging onto the gutter before he dropped feet-first onto the landing and amazingly kept his balance. Later when I wasn't there, he fell to the grass while climbing up the ladder -- that's what my friend told me. Just like Ollie, he kept dusting himself off and got right back in the saddle!
And he did all that without any "help" from Mr. Laurel!
