Topic: Chester Conklin in The Beast with 1,000,000 Eyes

I watched 1955 scifi/horror movie titled THE BEAST WITH 1,000,000 EYES this weekend. There was a couple of good, if somewhat short, credited appearances by Chester Conklin (Fire Chief Kelly in FLAT FOOT STOOGES, etc.) playing a geezer/buffoon. It was fun to watch him do his shtick in something other than a Stooges short (the only place I had seen him before). I recommend the movie for anyone who has fun doing their own MST3K wisecracks.

Some additional meaningless trivia:
The film also featured, as a supporting player, Dick Sargeant (billed as Richard Sargeant), the replacement Darren on the TV show BEWITCHED.

Thanks. I just read about it out on IMDb. I have never seen that movie. I noted Chester Conklin's name listed in the acting credits.

MODERN TIMES is probably Conklin's most famous part, but he was a Keystone Cop for Mack Sennett as well.  He was known for his "walrus" moustache.

I'll have to check out THE BEAST WITH 1,000,000 EYES.  Sounds like my kind of movie.
