I'm sure you guys know the story of how the WHO DONE IT script was originally meant for The Three Stooges. Curly had his stroke and the script was passed onto Schilling and Lane.  Well, here's their version.  For you CITIZEN KANE fans, we know lots of those players were in Stooge shorts, and Gus Schilling was the head headwaiter earlier on in the film that was asked about "Rosebud" by the phone booth (the other waiter was Gino Corrado).

These guys have energy, but are nowhere near as good as The Three Stooges.  For every good comedy team back then, there were 10 second tier ones.  I thought Christine McIntyre was kind of wasted as the niece, and the pretty brunette who played the role Christine would play in WHO DONE IT didn't have as much to do.  I do like the closing gag, though.

The Langdon short's the best of these so far.
