Mr. Lane has several Stooge-related films to his credit...
- He worked with Ted Healy in
THE BAND PLAYS ON (1934)
and
HERE COMES THE BAND (1935)
.
- By way of stock footage from Warner Bros.' 42nd STREET, Lane can briefly be seen as an audience member in Shemp's solo Vitaphone,
SMOKED HAMS (1934)
. Both he and Shemp were in the supporting casts of these Universal features,
THE LEATHERPUSHERS (1940)
,
THE INVISIBLE WOMAN (1940)
and
APPOINTMENT FOR LOVE (1941)
.
- And, he was in
IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD (1963)
, as the airport manager.
Rest in peace.
