All Things Considered, June 19, 1997 · Ray speaks to Paul Howard and Joan Howard Maurer (MORE-ah) about their father, Moe Howard, of the Three Stooges, who was born 100 years ago today in Brooklyn, N.Y. They recall their childhood. Paul says his dad never hit him intentionally, despite hitting, slapping and poking being what he did for a living.

Cool find, falsealarms. I can't listen to the interviews right now (I'm at work and I.S. would have a fit over the bandwidth), but I've bookmarked this thread so I can listen to them tonight.
