Topic: Three Stooges Film Festival, Redford Theatre, Detroit, MI - 4/22 & 4/23/05

The Redford Theatre in Detroit, Michigan will be holding their annual Three Stooges Film Festival on Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd, 2005.  The scheduled line-up is:

• Three Sappy People (1939)
• Rockin' Through the Rockies (1940)
• In the Sweet Pie and Pie (1941)
• Sock-a-bye Baby (1942)
• The Yoke's on Me (1944)
• If A Body Meets A Body (1945)

Tickets are $5.00 each.

Evening showings of the films begin at 8:00 p.m., preceded by a 30 minute organ recital mini-concert beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday matinee begins with an organ overture at 1:30 p.m. The films start at 2:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get down there this time around.  Did anyone here on the site attend?  If so, how was it, and how big was the audience?  Was the place packed (like it should be?)

I think it's great that the Redford has been having these Stooges fesitvals every year, and I hope they'll have a second one again later this year.

I attended the friday night showing and it was great as usual, I would say the house was 3/4 or more full. What a great place to see the boys.
