My recommendation to someone new to the Stooges: watch'em all, in chrono order!

I'm inclined to agree. Even if there are some shorts I'd skip, someone seeing the boys for the first time should watch all a hundred and ninety shorts in order to make and decide what they like.

There are a few clunckers I think when they first started at Columbia, but then they had a great run until Curly got ill. That's a real boatload of shorts to enjoy, and then there are lots of Shemps that are not too shabby, either!
 

No one told me which ones to watch -- I just watched them as they were broadcast on TV, starting in the early 70s!
