I wouldn't have known otherwise but TCM is showing Boris Karloff movies all day as a tribute to his birthday today. I didn't see anything about it on the Boris Karloff website, and there is no way to leave a note there, so with Dunrobin's permission, I'll post birthday wishes here.
Born William Henry Pratt. Nov. 23, 1887 to Feb. 2, 1969.
