Turner Classic Movies will show an 8-hr salute to animation director Chuck Jones, beginning at 8PM Eastern on March 24, 2009. Included is a TCM original production, CHUCK JONES: MEMORIES OF CHILDHOOD (2009). Programming will repeat during the 8-hr block.
TCM's selections span Jones' Disneyesque beginnings at WB in the late '30s, to his stylistic work at MGM in the '60s. Noticeably/unfortunately missing are Roadrunner * toons, and one of his slapstick Three Bears ** masterpieces.

I can't wait for this. I'll be tuning in. Chuck Jones is one of the greats.

That was really fun watching those shows the other night. Some great trivia, as well as first appearances by the likes of Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian, et al.
