I can not for the life of me remember the name of a three stooges episode. Can you please tell me which one it is.

What I can remember is the three stooges close themselfs inside a small barn, and inside the barn they do something to make a barrel or something hover around the room. The people outside of the barn/shack think it is gunfire.

You're probably thinking of PHONY EXPRESS, where Curly is hiding from the bad guys in a potbelly stove.  When a match is thrown into the stove, it ignites some rubbish inside, which in turn sets off the bullets in Curly's bandoliers.
