Daily Fact #2:
Larry rarely got to the set on time, or to any other engagement. Several times during his career, Moe Howard had to cover for him until he showed up.

I've split these two posts off the NEWBIES thread, because I think it makes for an interesting feature and they might otherwise get lost (or overlooked) in that topic.

According to "The Stooge Chronicles," Moe didn't want Curly in the team because he couldn't act. This was when Shemp left in the early 30s.

Is it true that Larry was so bad at memorizing his lines, that they didn't give him very many?  I've noticed that Larry seems to have fewer lines, and the least amount of screen time, than any other stooge. ???

1. Why was 1983 a grat year for the Stooges?

2. In Blunder Boys, the Stooges police short, is a parody of what TV show?

3. Who is known as "the honorary Stooge"?

4. What was Moe going to do with the Three Stooges when Shemp passed away?

I know you're right on #4, that's in the Three Stooges Scrapbook. As for your #3, that's incorrect. The original answer is correct, Emil Sitka. That's in the Scrapbook as well, I believe.
