Hey, guys ...
I am seeing constant Three Stooges Shorts on YouTube, and then wonder why C3 is not wetting their pants over this? ... maybe its because the patent rights, or copyrights, or something like that has expired on the C3 Empire? Am I in the dark, or is there something to this?
The tacks won't come out! Well, they went in ... maybe they're income tacks.

Can it be TRUE that our DEAR boys crazy antics may have passed into PUBLIC DOMAIN?

Sony owns the rights to the shorts.  I see a lot of people post copyrighted stuff, sometimes it stays up, sometimes the owners request it gets taken down.  I think in The Three Stooges case Sony will act.  Below is a link to a video I commented on just a few days ago in the YouTube comment section.  Notice how Sony took it down since.

Apparently the Columbia shorts won't start passing into the public domain until 2030, when the first ones made in 1934 finally lose their copyright.

Fellow Stooge Fans,
I have found a site titled "Three Stooges Hd" which has full length colorized versions (and B&W) of our boys episodes with NO seeming blockage by Sony or C3. This site did some GREAT film restoration before publishing!
