Another utterly fascinating find, Dr. M!

Interesting they list Jimmy Finlayson among the Columbia crop. Did they try to get him for a lead or supporting part in a two-reeler and the deal fell through/never transpired?

I wonder which shorts APES OF WRATH and TALL, DARK AND TIRESOME became. FOR WHOM THE BELLES BOWL is likely WHAT MAKES LIZZY DIZZY? with Elsie Ames and Harry Langdon.

George Givot and Cliff Nazarro would ultimately be teamed up in one short, TWO SAPLINGS. Nazarro would also be teamed with Billy Gilbert in SHOT IN THE ESCAPE.

Great article and I detect a hint of frustration he can’t take his time with the shorts like in the old days.  Thanks for posting it, Dr. Mabuse.
