I met Scott Wilson when he was filming "The Right Stuff" outside of Edwards Air Force Base in a poker room. I recognized him. It was clear that none of the other players did. I mouthed to him "I know who you are". He followed me to the coffee urn and I asked him to tell me about Truman Capote. He frowned and said "I never met him"

R.I.P. to Julia Adams, I enjoyed her in CREATURE OF THE BLACK LAGOON. Didn’t know she passed until now.

R.I.P. Ginger “Get Off My Lawn” Baker. The documentary about him a few years back shows one of the most curmudgeonly people ever, but he was a fine drummer. Clapton is the only surviving Cream member now.

I first saw him on the Jackie Gleason show from Miami when I was a kid. He cracked us up. Even my stoic dad was laughing his head off. I wondered: Who is this guy???

BTW he's another that I didn't know was gone.
