1950 Stooges radio interview
on:
July 22, 2019, 07:51:03 PM
A record of a 1950 radio interview with Moe, Larry and Shemp recently was up for auction along with hundreds of other items from Moe's estate.
The record went for several hundred dollars but the recording, which lasted just under five minutes, can be heard on WBAL's website for free.
The Stooges did the interview with WBAL ahead of an appearance in the Baltimore area around that time.

Nothing groundbreaking but fascinating just the same. I'm not sure if there are any other surviving radio interviews with Shemp.

I bought the original record at auction. I was the only bidder. It's priceless, one of a kind. Once owned by Moe. It's being released on a DVD set this July titled Stooge O-Rama.
