Auction house Nate D. Sanders is doing a massive auction of personal items from the Moe Howard estate.

There are hundreds of items available in all kinds of categories.

Even if you're like me and could never afford this stuff, it's pretty fascinating to look.

There's a bowtie he wore on his wedding day in 1925.... a photo signed to him from Clark Gable.... scores of documents ... scripts..... screen used Ogg and Zogg puppets.... pretty much the kitchen sink.

Hover over "The Personal Collection of Moe Howard" for various categories.

A sampling of fascinating things.... much of this stuff is mind-blowing to just see. It would take a LONG time to wade through it all.....

Two of the last checks Moe ever signed. One's from April 7, 1975, the other April 21. The checks paint a pretty sad image of a very ill man - his signature had taken a pretty steep dive by that point. Shaky and very weak looking - the worst examples of it I've ever seen, especially the M on the April 21 check. The April 21 signature looks worse than the one two weeks prior. He would pass away on May 4. On that April 21 check, it almost looks like he signed it but someone else filled in the rest.

Scarce Three Stooges Agreement With Columbia From 1946 Signed by FOUR Stooges, Moe, Curly, Larry & Shemp -- "Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Jerry Howard and Shemp Howard are employed as one (1) unit" - On Facebook, there was some chatter Moe may have signed for Curly on this one.

The Three Stooges signed agreement with Columbia Pictures, dated 3 November 1955, renewing their contract to star in eight short films. Signed by ''Moe Howard'', ''Larry Fine'' and ''Shemp Howard'' as well as by a Columbia representative ...... Of note, this was under a month before Shemp's passing.

If only I had unlimited amounts of money.....

I spent a good hour going through all his items, what I would do to have some of them!! Anyone know why his items are being auctioned off? Are there no more heirs in the Howard bloodline? Kinda curious...

Some of this stuff is pretty cool.  I like the contracts especially.  Actual proof Curly was a legal Stooge at least the first year after the stroke.  I wonder how long that lasted?
