Many actresses began their careers as dancers: Joan Crawford, Shirley McClain, Rita Hayworth and Mary Tyler Moore come quickly to mind. As a youngster I thought of Ginger Rogers as the preeminent hoofer, but later I discovered Cyd Charise, Paula Kelly and a couple of others.
Very recently I became aware of the very talented
