July 12, Joe DeRita's solo film PEOPLE ARE FUNNY (1946 Paramount) will be available on DVD.
A B-budget musical/comedy adaptation of Art Linkletter's hit radio show, it's directed by Sam White (Jules' and Jack's brother) and music by Archie Gottler (WOMAN HATERS); with Jack Haley, Ozzie Nelson, Frances Langford, Rudy Vallee and Art Linkletter.
The DVD label is Falcon Group, the independent distributor that manufactures the 'Critic's Choice Exclusive' line of DVDs for the latter's online-&-mail catalog. The Falcon line is primarily comprised of low-budget public domain titles, but they usually source from the best available prints.
