This sad news made the rounds on social media on Sunday but I haven't seen it posted here.

Stooge fan Bill Cappello passed away on Sunday after a battle with cancer. He was a longtime research consultant for The Three Stooges Journal, but was better known as a master people finder. Nobody was better than Bill at finding actors who fell through the cracks. His efforts with that date back decades, long before the internet opened up many new avenues for researchers. His research has aided countless books on film over the years. His contributions will certainly be missed.

May he rest in peace.  Condolences to any friends and family who may be reading this.  I never knew him personally, but enjoyed his work over the years, including the story of the Christine journey back in the 70's.  Reading the obituary, I know pancreatic cancer is one of the worst and quickest kinds of cancers.  It also took Symona Boniface as well as a distant cousin of mine.

I remember first reading his Christine McIntyre article, before I even found this website, and being impressed by his dedication and success with his search. RIP.
