Topic: The Ultimate Stooge Villains Tournament - Banal 4

Yes, it's another Stooge Short Tournament!  It's the best I could do for now.  The pool was narrowed as many Stooge shorts don't have a villain, or the villain only is around briefly.  These are shorts with an actual villain whom the Stooges must defeat with their wit and slapstick.  For your benefit, I have linked the discussion to each respective short from metaldams' reviews.   In case of a tie, I'll... figure something out.  The winners advance to the Championship Round.  Seedings here are based on the ThreeStooges.net rankings from some previous date, and they are paired in traditional tournament format.  The DeRita movies are also included in this, but they all got booted in Round 1 anyhow!  Vote for your favorite Stooge villain from each set.

This match-up is going to be quite interesting.  Can Kenneth MacDonald take both sides in the final?  Will the hilarious Sergeant Dare get the villainous Dapper Malone "right between the eyes"?  Can the Communist spy continue to upend the higher seeds?

I read the original threads and re-watched the shorts. Two things stood out:

One, Borscht is on screen way more than Slipp, so he is much more integral to the story.

Second, Borscht is seriously funny. Loved his rant, that goes on and on, about not wanting to share the salami.

I just realized I screwed up seeding... the two MacDonald shorts should have been against each other with BOOBS and DUNKED squaring off in this round.
