Paul Pain's Stooge Short Tournament

Here we go! Pick your favorite short from each pair (or triplet)! The ones with most votes advance to the Final 4. For your benefit, I have linked the discussion to each respective short from metaldams' reviews. These are seeded in order by ThreeStooges.net ratings. If we have enough fun with this, maybe we can push these brackets long enough to achieve an order of 1-190 by these methods?

Edit: in case of a tie, both shorts advance, and there will be three shorts squaring off based on where the lower ranked short would have been.

To make things more difficult for us, I have decided to declare this the championship round, and, make it be a basic poll. And, oy vey, what difficult choices! The votes will be hidden until after the poll closes. Choose wisely!

And we have a tie... since we had a tie, I am going to do this one in the way Metaldams would... choose your two favorites from the lot... any pair will do, and it will count as a singular vote for each of the shorts...

I enjoyed the preliminary round the most. It was fun picking out which short sucked the least.

Yes, congrats to An Ache In Every Stake. It truly is a great short. But irrespective of that, I'd be interested, from those who participated, what is your personal favorite(s). Mine, not that anyone cares, is Uncivil Warriors, which didn't even sniff at being voted into the top echelon.

My personal favorites are THREE DARK HORSES (which unfortunately didn't come close) and VIOLENT IS THE WORD FOR CURLY (which came closer).
