would be willing to trade the ed wynn show complete with  helen forest and the stooges for 2 missing columbia shorts from my shemp collection- #133  Merry Mavericks and #155 Pals and Gals.  ::)

Actually, "Merry Mavericks" is already available on DVD from Columbia Pictures.  In fact, the DVD is titled "Merry Mavericks."  I would suggest buying it from Deep Discount DVD (deepdiscountdvd.com).  The site offers free shipping.  You can also buy it through Amazon.com.
