Actor Pat Harrington Jr. passed away yesterday, January 6, at age 86. His many, many credits include extensive voice-over work, and Pat had some Stooges-related connections in that capacity.

  •  Harrington was the voice of 'Moe Howard' for two 1972 Three Stooges episodes of THE NEW SCOOBY DOO MOVIES, "Ghastly Ghost Town" and "Ghost of the Red Baron."
  •  In 1965, Pat worked with Joe Besser on an unsold Marx. Bros. TV cartoon pilot "A Day at the Horse Opera." Harrington was the voice of 'Groucho' and Besser was 'Great Indian Chief.'

Although Pat was a recurring player on THE STEVE ALLEN SHOW in the late 1950s and 1960s, unfortunately he did not have the opportunity to appear with Moe, Larry and Curly Joe on their three guest episodes (Jan. 11, Feb. 22 and Apr. 5, 1959).

Non-Stooges, Pat is most known for costarring as ‘Schneider’ on ONE DAY AT A TIME from 1975 – 1984.

Rest in peace.
