They have now lost two of the three highest-scoring games in NFL history.

Somehow, they will probably win the NFC Least with 9 or 10 wins and then beat New England for the Super Bowl, same script as 4 and 8 years ago.

I did before the season, under the "I don't mind the Patriots going 15-1 as long as that loss is to the Eagles." Of course, I figured they would lose 62-7 if the Gronkulator played, 52-7 without him. So now the Eagles have beaten every team in the NFL since Y2K.

Tonight, for possibly the first time in history, the Eagles and the Giants will be rooting for Dallas. As the late Richie Ashburn used to say to the late Harry Kalas, "Hard to believe, Harry!" -- on both counts.
