I was watching "Support Your Local Gunfighter" checked out from the local library, and after seeing Dub Taylor in the movie, I realized how often I mistook him for Strother Martin (the warden in "Cool Hand Luke" ... "what we have heah is a failure to communicate")
Even though they don't remotely look alike, their western "Character actor" personas were one and the same.
And, for Paul Pain ... Jay Silverheels is Tonto, and Edgar Buchanan was Uncle Joe on Petticoat Junction, and Paul Ford was in many westerns and also the Mayor of River City in "The Music Man", and finally Jason Robards, Jr. was in "Once Upon a Time in the West".
