It is a great hobby. There is an unending supply of films on eBay. I lost an auction for SING OF SONG OF SIX PANTS today in Super 8 from Red Fox films. It went for $75! I thought I had it won with a high bid of $40. Since that is a PD title, other companies were able to release it -- in the case the aforementioned Red Fox. Columbia never did release that one for the home movie collectors. $75 was way too high -- I would say that's the average price of a Stooges short in 16mm.
Blackhawk never released any 3 Stooges, though they did sell them in their catalog -- the official releases from Columbia's 8mm division.
