I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but it's a question, so what the heck. Did Ted Healy ever make a movie with the replacement stooges, Garner, Hakins and Wolf? Thanks for your time and grey matter.
However, I'm pretty sure that the Gentlemaniacs made a few films after Ted Healy's tragic, mysterious death.
There is a clip of them performing in The Three Stooges Story, doing the "I won't pay it!"/*smack* routine that Larry, Moe and Curley-Joe did in one of The New 3 Stooges wraparounds.
The 1936 lineup of Red Pearson, Jimmy Brewster and Sammy Wolfe appeared in SAN FRANCISCO (1936), but their scene with Ted was cut. As a result, although Ted is a featured costar with Gable, Tracy and MacDonald, he is stooge-less. A few production stills of Ted with those comics exist.
The Gentlemaniacs worked through the 30's into the 50's.
